Gustave Kaitz (1913-1992) was the last great American Art Deco artist of the twentieth century: the creator of works possessing awesome imagination, illusion, imagery and symbolism, as well as philosophy and self-realization.

Kaitz himself described the soul of his work: “The fantasy and the dream image within us is the real reality. What you believe in becomes the truth. I create my own mythology.”
